Job Description:
The modeling team is part of the Firmware Development organization within SanDisk. The team’s primary objective is to create simulators to virtualize the hardware in SanDisk products. Firmware development is carried out on these virtual platforms before porting onto the actual hardware.

| Skills Required | The candidate will be expected to independently perform design and coding activities and mentor a team of engineers to realize the end targets. The candidate must be a quick learner and also demonstrate leadership abilities, such that she/he can manage the team in the long run with minimum hand-holding. She/he must participate in complex debugging activities and ensure that the work done by the team undergoes adequate reviews. The candidate must also assume a pivotal role in innovative work done by the team and filing of papers and patents. Must have skills are: C (expert level), C++ (intermediate to expert level) and Scripting (beginner level). Good to have skills are: RTOS, compiler / interpreter or tool-chain development using Lex and YACC, device driver development, scripting automation experience, GCC and Makefiles, EDA tools development, system modeling using SystemC or equivalent. | ||
